To book an appointment, please contact us, we look forward to helping you!
Our process begins prior to arriving at the prospective property – it’s a disciplined approach from the moment you call and continues with our Post Inspection Support. You are informed of exactly what to expect and what is expected of you – there are no surprises, so you have peace of mind knowing that your inspection experience will be a positive one.
Our inspection of the home is a multi-step process that can take 3.5 to 4 hours depending on the size of the home. It is informative and educational and involves the inspection, walkthroughs with Q&A and video review.
We discuss your inspection requirements, inform you of what to expect, issue the Contract and supporting documentation that explains the Terms and Scope of the inspection and answer any questions you may have about our inspection process.
We will most likely be meeting each other for the first time – so formal introductions are in order. We will sit down with you and go over the Contract and supporting documentation as outlined in Step 1.
This is important and educational at the same time. It helps you become familiar with the report structure and how the information is recorded so when you are reading the report after the inspection, you will be able to process the information easily.
We will begin by inspecting the Roof and Exterior of the home while recording our findings in the process.
During the walkthrough we will explain our findings while offering you maintenance tips and/or suggestions and answering any questions you may have.
The Interior inspection begins in the basement working our way up through the home and ends with the attic space, while recording our findings in the process.
During the walkthrough we will explain our findings while offering you maintenance tips and/or suggestions and again answering any questions you may have.
During the inspection, the roof and attic (if an attic exists and is accessible) are areas of the home that we cannot take you for obvious safety reasons therefore in order that you may know the condition of these areas; we videotape them for your review.
This is the point of the process where we answer any additional questions you may have. Our report is prepared and sent to you electronically next day. This allows us more time for inspecting, educating and informing you on the condition of the home so you don’t have to wait around until your report is complete.
When you receive your report, you are required to read it in its entirety, review the pictures and videos, and reflect on the walkthroughs. If you think of more questions or want to re-visit ones you’ve already asked, please contact us before making your purchase decision because there is no such thing as too many questions.
